The 2026 RAV4 pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with Toyota’s latest hybrid system, sending power through an electronically controlled CVT. The standard hybrid produces 226 horsepower in front-wheel-drive form and 236 horsepower with all-wheel drive — more than both the outgoing gas and hybrid models. For added performance, the plug-in hybrid delivers an estimated 324 horsepower and an estimated 50 miles of electric-only driving.
