I can't say enough good things about Capistrano Valley Toyota! We picked up our reserved Rav4 this morning. The experience was super low key and low stress. The salesman we worked with, Fred, was so easy to work with. When we initially made the reservation, we expressed concern about dealership markups and add-ons - we had talked to a couple dealerships who told us that since we were after a desirable trim/color that the price would be jacked up or we would be forced to purchase "add-ons" like windshield replacement, a coating, a service agreement, etc. One dealership we talked to said we had to get three add ons (none less than $400 apiece) for stuff we didn't need AT ALL. Fred assured us that Capistrano Valley does not do this, under any circumstances, and we were pleased to find that this is totally true. The price at the time of reservation is what we paid. Fred was awesome about giving us some tips on the stuff we should do with the car before we drove off the lot while the paperwork was being drawn up, like downloading the app and setting basic preferences so we would be all set to link up our phones for directions. Because this dealership also works with our credit union and Fred and I discussed it before we came in, we were able to complete the financing application the day before. All of this really helped streamline our purchase experience. The finance manager we were paired up with, Saif, was also such a joy to work with. Because we already had our application in, we just needed to sign a couple things and go over optional service plans. Saif was so down to Earth and such a crack up. I've never been sitting in the finance just cracking up with someone like this. Again, the process was easy and enjoyable, which is such a nice change after working with the dealerships where we bought our two previous cars. I've always felt pressured during car buying, and have often had to hustle and fight after the fact to get dealerships to send us copies of the documents or to honor a promise they made. Saif took care of us and I have absolutely zero doubts that if I have a question he will be willing and able to help us out. Fred and Saif absolutely made our day today. It's such a pleasure, and a rarity, to work with two genuinely good dudes in a car-buying process, but we hit the jackpot. These guys really do deserve 10/5 stars and we will absolutely be back the next time we are looking for a car! If you're looking for a transparent, straightforward car-buying experience, use this dealership!
