For its gasoline powertrain models, each trim level is outfitted with the i-FORCE 2.4L turbocharged gasoline engine. Depending on your preferred configuration, it can generate up to 278 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque when paired with an automatic transmission. The hybrid trim levels are equipped with the i-FORCE MAX 2.4L turbocharged hybrid powertrain that gets up to 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The Tacoma proves that you do not have to sacrifice power for efficiency.
